An Apron you Won't Want to Take Off April 16, 2015 08:00
When you see a Marcy Butler Apron for the first time you'll want to take a second look. Because at first glance the apron looks like a little black dress (or red, or green, or purple dress). They are cut and sewn into such flattering styles that you may not want to take yours off after the cooking is complete.
Each design is crafted from 100% machine washable, brushed, cotton twill. The styles are either scoop or boatneck and feature deep pockets, adjustable back buttons and a tie waist.
In 2012, Marcy Butler, a longtime cook at family dinners, set out to create an apron for the life of the party. The styles needed to look chic enough to compliment any outfit, but easy to clean so they could be worn for cooking, gardening, baking and more. From there Marcy Butler Designs was born.
All aprons are made in the USA and Marcy, a former Southerner, is based in Washington D.C. She believes in feasts shared with friends, sunny days by the water, naps, and giggling often. These are all things we can get behind at Wander. And we will for sure be rocking a Marcy Butler Apron next time our friends come over for dinner.
