I don't know about you, but I heart maps. When I spotted the wood maps from Neighborwoods, I was in awe of the hand-drawn, hand-lettered designs.

Neighborwoods are designed by Aymie Spitzer out of Brooklyn, New York and San Francisco, California. Her hand-letting was inspired by vintage clip art books and the maps are Aymie's designs with help from people who live in each city. She likes to make sure that each neighborhood on every map looks great!

Once she masters the city design, she has help laser-burning design into Aromatic Red Cedar by artisans in both Brooklyn and Miami, Florida.

Aromatic Red Cedar is a great choice of material for this project, as it not only looks beautiful, but also smells great, and is native to the Pacific Northwest and is certified by the Forest Steward Council (FSC). The FSC ensures that the cedar come from responsibly managed forests that provide environmental, social and economic benefits. Meaning Neighborwoods are American made and environmentally friendly! Yay!

Wander has the Boston Map, Coasters and Keychain in stock. These make great gifts for a Boston native or someone who has just moved to the area. If you'd like to order a Neighborwood of another city please send a note to hello@wandertruck.com.
